The Outlandish Companion – Vol. One
Volume 1 of THE OUTLANDISH COMPANION (aka “O.C.”) is a nonfiction book that provides information, background, and answers to many of the questions readers had about my OUTLANDER series.
It was published for the First Time in the U.S.A. on March 15, 2015. Volume 1 of The O.C. is an updated, revised edition of the single volume OUTLANDISH COMPANION that was first published in 1999. In 2015, there were four more books in the main OUTLANDER series.
There were also several related books. A second volume was created, which took many years. What does The Revised O.C. contain? What makes the revised OUTLANDISH COMPANION unique from the original?
The original COMPANION had two chapters, along with a few smaller items scattered about, that were completely out of date. This was the chapter on Online Communities and Resources. Since 1998, the internet has changed dramatically.
